Welcome to the 2014 baseball season at Petco Park. The Padres have created this A to Z Guest Guide to assist in making your experience at Petco Park the best it can possibly be.

 

 

 

 

 

  • A

    ADVANCE TICKET PURCHASES
    Guests can purchase tickets to upcoming San Diego Padres games by telephone at (619)795-5555, on the Internet at padres.com or in person at the Petco Park Box Office, 100 Park Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92101.
    At Petco Park, guests can purchase tickets at the Petco Park Main Box Office located next to the Home Plate Gate, open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. On home game dates, select ticket windows remain open throughout the game and open at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. (Game-in-progress sales continue until the conclusion of the sixth inning.) The Padres Ticket Lobby is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED)
    AED units are located throughout the ballpark.
    AISLE POLICY
    As a courtesy to others, guests are asked to refrain from walking in select aisles during player at-bats from the top of the second inning until the conclusion of the game. Select Guest Services Representatives (GSR) are positioned at the top of select aisles with handheld signs to remind guests to observe this policy.
    ALCOHOL POLICY
    Guests who consume alcohol are expected to do so in a responsible manner and abide by these guidelines.
    California liquor regulations prohibit guests from bringing alcoholic beverages into Petco Park. Security officers at every gate will inspect packages, bags and purses to prevent guests from bringing bottles, cans or any other type of liquid containers into Petco Park (with the exception of factory-sealed water bottles that are twenty (20) ounces or less).
    No person may enter Petco Park who is obviously intoxicated.
    Guests cannot exit the premises with alcoholic beverages of any kind.
    All guests purchasing an alcoholic beverage must present one of the following valid photo IDs: state issued driver's license, state ID, military ID, or passport.
    ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SEATS
    Roughly 500 seats in Sections 125 & 127 ABOVE THE WALKWAY are available for this all-inclusive ticket area. Menu includes hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, soda and bottled water with service beginning when the gates open and concluding two (2) hours after the first pitch. Both individual and group tickets are available for most Padres home games or further information, please call the Ticket Sales Department at (619) 795-5555 or go to padres.com.
    ANIMALS/PETS
    Certified service animals or service animals in training are welcome at Petco Park. On select promotional dates (such as Dog Days of Summer), a limited number of pets are permitted into certain areas of the ballpark. Exceptions will be made at the discretion and authorization of the San Diego Padres.
    When the Park at the Park is open to the public, the City of San Diego enforces the "leash law" as stated in San Diego Municipal Code §63.0102 Use of Public Parks and Beaches Regulated (b)(2).
    ATMs
    There are six (6) San Diego County Credit Union ATMs located throughout Petco Park. On the Street Level outside of the Home Plate and Gaslamp Gates, as well as inside the ballpark near Sections 105, 114, 135 and 301.

    BABY CHANGING TABLE STATIONS
    Baby changing tables are available in all men's and women's restrooms throughout Petco Park.
    BAGS/BACKPACKS/CONTAINERS/COOLERS
    All soft-sided containers and bags that measure sixteen (16) inches by sixteen (16) inches by eight (8) inches or smaller are permitted into Petco Park. All bags and containers are subject to inspection by security prior to entering the ballpark. Hard-sided coolers, bags, backpacks with metal frames, or items that exceed the noted size limitations are not permitted into Petco Park.
    BALLPARK EVENTS (Petco Park Events)
    Petco Park is an ideal location for a variety of special events. To host an event at the ballpark, please call the Petco Park Events Department at (619) 795-5025 or email events@padres.com. Interested parties may also visit the Petco Park Events website at petcoparkevents.com for additional information.
    BANNERS AND SIGNS
    The San Diego Padres welcome and encourage fan support including homemade signs and banners. To ensure that these articles do not distract others, we ask that guests adhere to the following guidelines:
    The San Diego Padres request that banners not be placed in the direct sight line of the batter and/or hung in any area of the playing field or over seat backs, protective railings, infringe on the sight lines of other guests, obstruct any advertising signage, be larger than four (4) feet by eight (8) feet in size, or be commercial, political, or obscene in nature.
    The Padres have sole discretion to permit or remove any sign or banner from the ballpark at any time.
    BATS AND BROOMS
    For general safety reasons, guests are not permitted to bring bats, brooms, wooden sticks, or rods of any sort into the ballpark. Small whiskbrooms or small souvenir bats are permitted.
    BATTING PRACTICE TIMES
    Batting practice times for the San Diego Padres and visiting team vary based on the scheduled game time. Batting practice is typically not held on Sundays. All batting practice times are subject to change without prior notice.
    BEACH BALLS
    Inflatable items (such as baseballs, bats, beach balls, dolls, etc.), Frisbees, and other similar objects are prohibited inside Petco Park.
    BIKE PARKING
    Bicycle stands are available for use during all ballpark events by guests outside the Home Plate, Park Boulevard, Gaslamp, Downtown and Balboa Park Gates.
    BOTTLES/CANS/OUTSIDE BEVERAGES
    Factory-sealed, bottled water that is twenty (20) ounces or less and soft-sided single juice or milk containers are the only outside beverages permitted in to Petco Park. Guests with disabilities may bring factory-sealed plastic or paper containers that contain liquids required for medical reasons in to the ballpark.
    BREAKFAST AT THE PARK
    For all Sunday home games during the 2012 season, guests can enjoy a unique dining opportunity - breakfast on the playing field prior to game time. "Breakfast at the Park" offers specialty breakfast items in the Park at the Park and at select concessions stands throughout the ballpark. On-field seating is offered as available, with additional seating located at the Batters' Eye and the Picnic Terraces.
    BUS
    Petco Park Event Bus Service
    The drop-off location for private charter buses is located at the west side of 14th Street, between K Street and Imperial Avenue, immediately east of Tailgate Park. The south side of K Street between 13th and 14th Streets is used for overflow bus parking. Reservations are not required and there is no cost for bus parking in this location.
    Regularly Scheduled Bus Service
    Many convenient bus routes serve Petco Park, including Routes 11, 901 & 929 which stop right at the ballpark's front door at Park Boulevard and 10th Avenue. Routes 4, 11, 901 & 929 also stop at the 12th and Imperial Transit Center, just two blocks away. Routes 3 and 5 stop along Market Street, just a short walk to the ballpark.     CAMERAS AND CAMCORDERS (ELECTRONIC RECORDING DEVICES)
    Guests are welcome to bring still cameras, video cameras and other electronic recording devices in Petco Park for their personal use. Guests must avoid obstructing the views of others when using video recording or photography equipment. The San Diego Padres reserve the right to request that guests discontinue filming or taking photographs on ballpark property.
    CHEWING TOBACCO
    Chewing tobacco is prohibited in Petco Park.
    CHILDREN
    Petco Park offers complimentary admission to children under thirty-six (36) inches in height, provided they are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. These children must sit in the lap of the accompanying adult and not occupy an additional seat.
    COASTER TRAIN
    The COASTER train is a convenient way to travel from North County to every Padres home game. Easily accessible with free parking from coastal communities, the COASTER lets you avoid summer traffic on Interstate-5. Check out schedules online at GoNCTD.com or call 511 and say "COASTER" for more information.
    CONCESSIONS
    Petco Park offers a unique assortment of concession and dining opportunities with features a local San Diego favor. Concession guides is available for guests at the Guest Service Centers located on the Street Level, as well as Sections 108, 204 and 313.
    CREDIT CARD POLICIES
    MasterCard, Visa, and American Express are accepted at most ticketing, food and retail locations throughout Petco Park. Credit cards are also accepted for in-seat service. Credit cards are the only accepted form of payment in private and group suites. Payment is due upon conclusion of the event.

    DESIGNATED DRIVER PROGRAM
    The San Diego Padres, Sportservice, Budweiser and TEAM Coalition want guests to enjoy the ballgame and then experience a safe trip home. We encourage guests to sign up for our Designated Driver Program at any Guest Services Center, the Designated Driver kiosk near Gaslamp Gate, or the Toyota Terrace Concierge Desk. Guests who are able to produce a valid driver's license, are at least twenty-one (21) years of age and willing to sign a Designated Driver Pledge will receive a voucher for a complimentary non alcoholic beverages. Sign-ups conclude at the end of the 5th inning.
    DIGITAL DELIVERY
    Season Ticket Members will have the option to use their personalized Membership card as their game ticket and each card can have multiple tickets stored on it. New multi-media barcode readers have been installed at all Petco Park points of entry. Season Ticket Members will scan themselves in using their card and will receive a seat locater receipt for seat verification inside the seating bowl. Mobile ticketing via Padres mobile, powered by the MLB.com At the Ballpark application, will be available for all fans through the in the coming weeks.
    DIRECTIONS TO PETCO PARK
    All major state highways, freeways and interstates that serve San Diego provide access to Petco Park.
    From North County: I-5 South, exit Imperial Avenue, turn right and go westbound to Ballpark SR-163 South, exit Tenth Avenue, go straight south to Petco Park.
    From South County: I-5 North, exit 19th Street, turn left on J Street and go westbound to Petco Park.
    From East County: 94 West into downtown, turn left on 16th Street or 10th Avenue and go southbound to Petco Park.
    DRINKING FOUNTAINS
    Drinking fountains are location throughout Petco Park near Sections 108, 114, 121, 123, 132, 135, 212, 221, 231, 304, 307, 309, 310, 316, 317, 326 and 327.

    ELECTRIC OUTLETS (ADA POWER STATIONS)
    Electrical outlets for recharging wheelchairs and other necessary equipment are located in many seating areas designated for guests with disabilities. Guests can call (619) 795-5181 to request this option when purchasing tickets.
    ELEVATORS/ESCALATORS
    Elevators and escalators are located throughout Petco Park to provide vertical transportation to all ballpark seating levels. Elevators and escalators to access various ballpark levels are located near Sections 111, 114, 117, 137, 201, 217, 226, 235, 300, 311, 317, 314, 328, inside the Western Metal Supply Co. Building, as well as at the Gaslamp, East Village, Park Boulevard and Home Plate Gates.

    EXIT/RE-ENTRY
    Guests wishing to leave Petco Park but planning to return during the same game must have their ticket and hand stamped by gate personnel prior to exiting. Only guests with both a stamped valid ticket stub and a stamped hand will be granted ballpark re-entry.

    FAMILY RESTROOMS
    For the convenience of our guests, several family restrooms have been designated for families or guests with disabilities requiring private accommodations or additional assistance. Family restrooms are located near Sections 109, 202, 219, 310 and 311.
    FIRST AID
    First Aid Stations with on duty trained medical personnel are located at:
    • Field Level - Main Concourse - Section 108
    • Power Alley between Sections 129 and 131
    FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICIES
    The San Diego Padres permit guests to bring food into Petco Park for individual consumption (but not for large groups of individuals) as long as the items are consumed in the general seating or designated picnic areas. Outside food cannot be brought into any restaurant, club lounge, or suite. Guests must also adhere to the following:
    • All food items should be wrapped, bagged, or left inside a container to avoid spillage.
    • Food that might be thrown as a projectile must be sliced or sectioned (i.e., oranges, apples and other fruits).
    • Food containers must be soft-sided and small enough to fit under the guest's seat. All bottles, cans, thermoses, jugs and containers that are larger than sixteen (16) inches by sixteen (16) inches by eight (8) inches are prohibited inside Petco Park.
    • Factory-sealed, bottled water that is twenty (20) ounces or less and soft-sided single juice and milk containers are the only outside beverages permitted into Petco Park. Guests with disabilities may bring factory-sealed plastic or paper containers containing liquids required for medical reasons into the ballpark.*

    FOUL BALLS/HOME RUN BALLS
    Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball or home run ball hit into the stands. At no time should a foul ball or home run ball be thrown back onto the playing field. Guests throwing any object onto the playing field or interfering with a ball in play are subject to removal from Petco Park. Guests should stay alert at all times for bats and balls that could land in the seating areas. Ticket holders assume all risks and dangers, incidental to the game of baseball, whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual playing of the game.

    GATE TIMES
    The Park at the Park opens two and a half hours prior to game time for most home games. All ballpark gates open for admittance ninety (90) minutes prior to game time. All ballpark entries are fully accessible.
    All gate times are subject to change for special events, including Opening Day and post-season play.
    Season Ticket Members have special pre-game access to batting practice in the ballpark through the Park Blvd. Gate.
    GRATUITIES/TIPS
    Great service is always complimentary at Petco Park. Guests can demonstrate their appreciation for Team Member's efforts by filling out a Comment Card available at any Guest Services Center, by emailing Fan Feedback (fanfeedback@padres.mlb.com), or on the Padres website at padres.com.     GROUP SALES
    The San Diego Padres offer special rates for groups of twenty (20) guests or more. In addition, the sales staff can help organize events in our one-of-a-kind facilities including the Western Metal Rooftop Bleachers, Picnic Terraces, Kona Cove, Third Base Porch, Skyline Patio, Club 336, Budweiser Patio and Terrace Lofts as well as Western Metal, Tower Loft, Toyota Terrace, and Premier Club Suites.     GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT
    The San Diego Padres and their contracted service partners are committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience for all guests. Our Petco Park Team Members will proactively and ensure the following:
    • The progress of the game or event is not disrupted by guests' actions or by unauthorized persons accessing the playing field or restricted areas.
    • Inappropriate or indecent clothing does not detract from the guest experience.
    • Guests can enjoy the ballpark experience free from foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
    • Guests refrain from displays of affection inappropriate in a public family setting.
    • Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest is handled in a prompt and safe manner.
    • Guests present their tickets when requested and sit only in their ticketed locations.
    The San Diego Padres reserve the right to remove any guest at any time who does not comply with the Guest Code of Conduct.
    GUEST INTERFERENCE
    In the interest of player and guest safety, the San Diego Padres maintain a zero tolerance regarding guest interference with a ball in play, disruption of an event, or interference with a VIP. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate removal from Petco Park.
    GUEST SERVICES CENTERS
    The Main Guest Services Center is located on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108, and is open from the time gates open until the ballpark is cleared. In addition to the Main Guest Services Center, there is a Guest Services Center on the Street Level near Home Plate Gate and on the Upper Level at Section 313. Guests on the Toyota Terrace can access the Concierge Desk located near Section 208. All locations offer helpful information about Petco Park and the San Diego Padres, as well as a number of ballpark amenities.
    GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES - SERVICES OFFERED
    The San Diego Padres understand the importance of maintaining a safe and guest-friendly environment for all. In an effort to provide accessibility to our guests with disabilities, the San Diego Padres offer the following ballpark resources:
    • Accessible parking options in nearby lots and structures
    • Accessible seating locations in all price categories
    • Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)
    • Braille and large print menus
    • Closed Captioning Devices
    • Courtesy shuttle service to and from nearby parking lots and structures

    Accessible Parking
    All parking lots and structures designed by the San Diego Padres and ACE Parking for Petco Park provide accessible parking spaces for guests with disabilities.
    Accessible Seating
    The San Diego Padres have designated seats in Petco Park specifically for guests with disabilities in each of the following categories: Wheelchair accessible, Semi-Ambulatory and Transfer seats. In most cases, accompanying companion seats are available.
    • Wheelchair spaces are available for guests with disabilities who utilize a wheelchair
    • Semi-Ambulatory seats are available for guests with disabilities who require additional leg room beyond the minimum of twenty-four (24) inches traditional ballpark seating provides
    • Transfer seats are available for guests with disabilities who require an armless aisle seat

    Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)
    The Padres are pleased to offer complimentary Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) to guests with hearing difficulties. ALDs can be obtained at the Guest Service Centers located on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108, the Street Level near the Home Plate Gate and the Upper Deck at Section 313, as well as the Toyota Terrace Concierge Desk located at Section 208. Identification will be required and held to reserve a device. Identification will be returned once the ALD is returned. Guests may also reserve an ALD in advance by calling Petco Park Guest Services at (619) 795-5304.
    Braille/Large Print Menus & Publications
    Braille and large print menus are available upon request at all concession stands, but not at restaurants and lounges. In addition, many Petco Park brochures are available in Braille and large print at any Guest Services Center.
    Closed Captioning Devices
    The Padres are pleased to offer closed captioning of the public address announcements here at Petco Park. The closed-captioning transcript can be viewed using the complimentary MLB At the Ballpark* application, which is accessible on any smartphone or web-enabled device. For those guests without a smartphone or web-enabled device, an iPod Touch is available for check out at Guests Services near Section 108. Identification will be required and held when the devices are checked out. Identification will be returned once the device is returned.

    • Install 'MLB At the Ballpark'
    • Open 'MLB At the Ballpark' and select Petco Park

    Courtesy Shuttles
    Complimentary shuttle service is available for guests with disabilities. The shuttles provide transportation between the Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park, the MTS Garage and Petco Park The shuttle service is available two (2) hours prior to the start of a scheduled game and continues for approximately one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game. Guests wishing to utilize this service following the game should report to the Street Level Guest Services Center as a designated shuttle pickup. Our guests' patience is requested. Service will be provided in the order that the calls are received.
    Electrical Outlets (ADA Power Stations)
    Electrical outlets for recharging wheelchairs and other necessary equipment are located in many seating areas designated for guests with disabilities. Please call (619) 795-5181 to request this option when purchasing tickets.
    Elevators
    Guests with disabilities can utilize a number of elevators located throughout Petco Park. Elevators to access various ballpark levels are located near Sections 111, 114, 117, 137, 201, 217, 226, 235, 300, 311, 317, 314, 328, inside the Western Metal Supply Co. Building, as well as at the Gaslamp, East Village, Park Boulevard and Home Plate Gates.
    Emergency Evacuations
    Guest Services Representatives have been trained in evacuation procedures. Should an emergency evacuation situation occur, emergency information will be displayed on the video board as well as announced on the assistive listening devices and the public address system.
    Family Restrooms
    Family restrooms are designated for families and guests with disabilities who require private accommodations or additional assistance. Family restrooms are located in Petco Park at Sections 109, 202, 219, 310 and 311.
    First Aid
    First Aid Stations are located at Sections 108, between 129 and 131 in the Padres Power Alley. Trained medical personnel are on duty for all events to assist guests and Team Members as necessary.
    Guest Services Centers
    Guests needing assistance should approach a Petco Park Team Member or stop by a Guest Services Center located outside the Home Plate Gate, near Sections 108 or 313, or at the Concierge Desk adjacent to Section 208. The Guest Services Centers offer a number of services including Assistive Listening Devices, Ballpark Information, Birthday Buttons, Designated Driver Program, San Diego and Neighboring Communities Information, San Diego Padres and Petco Park Publications, Lost & Found Items, Lost Children/Adults, Loaner Wheelchairs, Stroller/Wheelchair Drop-Off and Storage.
    Service Animals
    Petco Park welcomes service animals. In keeping with U.S. ADA regulations, guests with disabilities may use either a dog or miniature horse that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the guest. The work or tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the guest's disability. As such, animals that provide emotional support or companionship to a guest will not be permitted inside the ballpark.
    Wheelchairs (Loaner/Escort)
    Wheelchairs are available for guests' temporary use at the Guest Services Center located on the Street Level near the Home Plate Gate, Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108 and the Upper Level near Section 313. Identification will be required when a wheelchair is checked out. Identification will be returned once the wheelchair is returned. Wheelchair storage is available at the Guest Services Center on Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108. Wheelchair escorts to and from seats are available upon request.
    Wheelchair Lifts
    Wheelchair Lifts are located throughout the ballpark to assist guests in accessing specific locations. Wheelchair lifts are located in the following areas: Padres Dugout, Visitors Dugout, Umpire Field Access Tunnel, Lexus Home Plate Club Lounge, Padres Bullpen, Western Metal Building Elevator #12, and the Omni Premier Club Patio.
    The San Diego Padres remain committed to ensuring that the Petco Park experience is an enjoyable and accessible one for guests with disabilities or special needs. We continue to fine-tune this award winning ballpark from both operational and facilities standpoints.     LASER POINTERS
    Laser pointers are not permitted inside Petco Park.
    LEXUS HOME PLATE CLUB:
    The Lexus Home Plate Club encompasses the Lexus Home Plate Restaurant and the Lexus Home Plate Lounge. This private area is for Lexus Home Plate Members exclusively and offers a buffet with carving and sauté station and a full bar. Advance reservations are not offered at this location.

    LOST AND FOUND
    Misplaced articles may be turned in at the Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108. Lost articles will be catalogued and held for thirty (30) days. Items not claimed after thirty (30) days are disposed of or donated to charity. Guests needing assistance in retrieving lost items during non-game hours should call (619) 795-5401.
    LOST CHILDREN/ADULT GUESTS
    If a guest has become separated from his or her party or individuals are looking for the lost guest (s), they will be escorted directly to the Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108.
    All Guest Services Centers offer wristbands for children. These bands identify the seat location and are helpful should a child become separated from his or her party.

    MILITARY
    The Padres are proud to continue our deep tradition of recognizing the military community throughout the year. Fans are encouraged to visit padres.com/military.
    MILITARY APPRECIATION TICKETS
    The Padres are proud to be the "Team for the Military." Tickets for all regular season home games are offered to the military at $6.00 off any available game tickets priced$14.00 or more (excluding the All- You-Can-Eat Sections,). These "Military Appreciation Pricing" tickets are available at the Petco Park Advanced Ticket Windows and participating military base MWR/MCCS ticket offices with a valid active-duty, reserve, retired, dependent or DOD employee ID card.
    Additionally, for all Sunday games, military personnel in uniform will be able to get 50% off any available ticket (excluding the All- You-Can-Eat sections, Beachers and Park Passes) at Petco Park box office windows.

    NOISE-MAKING DEVICES
    Musical instruments or any type of noise-making device are prohibited from being brought into Petco Park. Any exceptions will be at the discretion and authorization of the San Diego Padres.
    NURSING MOTHERS
    If a mother should request a more private nursing accommodation, the mother and child can come to Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108, or the nearest family restroom (Sections 109/111, 202, 219, 310, 311). It is important for all Petco Park Team Members to handle these requests with sensitivity and respect.

    PADRES MAJESTIC TEAM STORE
    The Padres Majestic Team Store is located on the first floor (Street Level near Section 126) of the Western Metal Supply Co. Building and offers official San Diego Padres merchandise for purchase.
    Operating Hours:
    Game Days: Opens at 10:00 am. Closes for one (1) hour before gates open in preparation for the game. Store re-opens to ticketed ballpark guests when gates open and closes one (1) hour after the conclusion of each home game.
    Non-game Days: Open to the general public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays.

    PAGING
    The public address system is not intended for paging guests. In the event of a medical emergency or other special circumstances, consideration will be given to providing a general page solely at the discretion of the San Diego Padres.
    PARKING
    The San Diego Padres, in partnership with Ace Parking, offer a broad range of parking options at a variety of price levels and locations. Guests have a choice when it comes to the price and location of parking. More than 27,000 parking spaces are located near the ballpark in the downtown area. Of those spaces, 9,000 have been designated specifically for Petco Park guests for $8.00, $10.00, $15.00 and $20.00 depending on proximity to the ballpark. Padres Preferred parking, located directly adjacent to Petco Park, can be purchased in advance at padres.com or by calling (619) 795-5555. Guests can follow Tweets from the San Diego Padres regarding parking lot status and overflow locations (@PadresTraffic).
    Guests driving to the ballpark should plan on arriving early and should choose a parking location based on the direction they'll be heading after the game, whether to the north, south or east. For large attendance games, guests are urged to utilize public transportation, or to park in Harbor Drive parking facilities or outer-lying areas.
    On non-conflicting event days and nights, an additional 5,000 FREE parking spaces are available at Qualcomm Stadium, with direct trolley service to Petco Park.
    PLAYER APPEARANCES
    San Diego Padres uniformed personnel make hundreds of appearances each year. For a listing of upcoming, club-sponsored community appearances, please refer guests to the Player Appearance Hotline at (619) 795-5275.
    PICNIC TERRACES
    Located just beyond the left field wall and directly above the Padres and Visitor bullpens, each of our two (2) picnic terraces are reserved as a private party facility and includes a food and beverage menu. Each terrace provides seating for either 24 or 36 and is available for as low as $68.00 per ticket. Please call the Ticket Sales Department at (619) 795-5555 or email grouptickets@padres.com.
    POSTPONED GAMES
    In the event of a postponed or cancelled event, guests will be advised to check the San Diego Padres website at padres.com, local newspapers, or Padres media affiliates for updates.
    PROHIBITED ITEMS
    For the comfort and safety of all, guests are not permitted to enter Petco Park with the following hazardous or potentially disruptive items:
    • Animals - Except certified service animals or service animals in training.
    • Bags/Backpacks - Larger than 16 inches x 16 inches x 8 inches - No hard-sided coolers or metal frames. All bags will be searched.
    • Ball Retrievers - of any kind. Baseball mitts are permitted.
    • Balls Of Any Type - Except autographed baseballs.
    • Balloons - Except as approved by the Padres.
    • Banners and Signs - Larger than 4 feet x 8 feet in size, commercial, political or obscene in nature.
    • Bats, Brooms, Sticks, Rods - Except small whiskbrooms or small souvenir bats.
    • Boom Boxes, Amplified Music or Loudspeakers - Except as approved by the Padres.
    • Bottles, Cans, Outside Beverages - Except sealed, bottled water twenty (20) ounces or less, soft-sided single juice or milk containers, or medically required liquids in a sealed plastic or paper container.
    • Firearms
    • Fireworks or Other Incendiary Devices
    • Frisbees or Other Sports Devices That Can Be Thrown
    • Glass Containers of Any Type
    • Inflatables
    • Knives of Any Type

    Guests are encouraged to leave prohibited items at home or in their car. All items are subject to search prior to entry. Any guest intentionally possessing a prohibited item inside Petco Park is subject to ejection from the ballpark and may be subject to criminal arrest and prosecution.
    The San Diego Padres reserve the right to adjust Petco Park entry policies at their sole discretion without any prior notice.
    For everyone's safety, Petco Park uses video surveillance cameras at all entry gates and inside the ballpark that are monitored 24 hours each and every day.

    RAIN DELAY - SEE POSTPONED GAMES
    Even with inclement weather, the San Diego Padres will make every effort to play all scheduled games.
    RECYCLING
    Guests can help the Padres in their "Go Green" initiative by depositing all recyclables in the blue reciprocals located throughout the ballpark concourse.
    RESTROOMS
    Men and Women restrooms are located throughout Petco Park. Several family restrooms have been designated for families or guests with disabilities requiring private accommodations or additional assistance. Family restrooms are located near Sections 109, 202, 219, 310 and 311.
    RETIRED NUMBERS
    The San Diego Padres have retired six (6) numbers to date: Steve Garvey's No. 6, Tony Gwynn's No. 19, Dave Winfield's No. 31, Randy Jones' No. 35, Jackie Robinson's No. 42, which was retired in 1997 by Major League Baseball, and Trevor Hoffman's No. 51. In addition to the retired numbers appearing above the Batters' Eye, the initials of RAK, honoring long-time owner Ray Kroc, and the "star" recognizing the efforts of long-time broadcaster Jerry Coleman, celebrating his trademark "Hang A Star!" are displayed in front of the Press Box on the Toyota Terrace Club.

    SAN DIEGO TROLLEY (MTS)
    Three (3) San Diego Trolley stations - 12th and Imperial, Park (12th) and Market and the Gaslamp Quarter Station (Fifth Avenue and Harbor Drive) serve Petco Park. All three (3) Trolley lines- Orange, Blue, and Green- provide direct service to and from the ballpark. This means fans can choose any one of more than 50 stations and board direct service to Petco Park. All three (3) Trolley lines will also offer enhanced service after night games.
    Expanded Green Line Service: The Green line now starts in Santee and continues all the way to Petco Park via SDSU, Qualcomm Stadium, Mission Valley, and Old Town. Check www.sdmts.com for routes and schedules.
    SCOREBOARD MESSAGES
    Personalized birthday and other celebratory messages, called "Scoreboard Surprises", can be displayed at Petco Park for a $50.00 donation to the Padres Foundation. The messages are displayed at the game of your choice and begin running in the second inning and continue through the seventh inning. All messages will be displayed at least once during this time frame. Messages must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance (48 hours on the weekends) and are available on a first come, first serve basis.
    Scoreboard Surprises should be submitted through the Padres website at padres.com.
    SEASON TICKETS
    2014 Padres Memberships can be purchased via telephone by calling (619) 795-5555, or in person at the Padres Ticket Office. Padres Memberships are available in Full-Season (Platinum), Half-Season (Gold) and 21-Game (Blue) packages, starting as low as $8.25 a game. Once the season begins, Season Ticket Plans are prorated to exclude games already played.
    Being a Padres Member affords priority for the best seats to the best games and savings over gate prices.
    In 2014, all Members are guaranteed seats for Opening Day and first rights to purchase tickets for post-season play.

    SENIOR DISCOUNT
    Seniors sixty (60) years and older may purchase tickets for $6.00 off any ticket priced $14.00 or more for any regular season home game, excluding the All-You-Can-Eat sections.     SHUTTLE SERVICE
    A complimentary shuttle service is available for ballpark guests. The shuttle service provides transportation between the Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park, the MTS Garage and Petco Park with specific pick-up locations.
    The shuttle service is available two (2) hours prior to a scheduled game start and continues for approximately one (1) hour following the conclusion of the game.
    Guests utilizing this service following the game should report to the Street Level Guest Service Center near the Home Plate Gate as a designated shuttle pick-up location.
    SKY BRIDGE
    The Omni Hotel Sky Bridge opens 90 minutes prior to game time for most home games. Access to the sky bridge is limited to Omni Hotel guests, pass holders, and Founders Club Members. All guests must have a valid game ticket to enter the ballpark. Game times are subject to change based on special events, such as Opening Day.
    SMOKING POLICY
    Petco Park is a smoke-free facility. Guests who wish to utilize standard or electronic smoking devices at a Petco Park event are required to utilize the designated locations outside the ballpark. Guests wishing to exit the ballpark and return to the same event must receive a re-entry stamp from gate personnel.
    SOLICITATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF LITERATURE
    Guests are prohibited from distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers or any other written, printed and/or painted materials, without advance written permission from the San Diego Padres.
    In addition, the Padres prohibit the placing of any of the above listed items on the windshields of parked vehicles within the Tailgate Park, Padres Parkade, and Lexus Premier Lot (formerly known as D1/D2).
    STORAGE
    Guests should use the space available beneath their seats to store personal items. Wheelchairs and strollers may be checked at the Guest Services Centers located on the Field Level (Main Concourse) at Section 108, the Upper Level near section 313, as well as the Toyota Terrace Concierge Desk adjacent to Section 208.
    STROLLERS
    Petco Park welcomes guests with strollers. However, their use must not limit guest movement or block aisles.
    Strollers may be checked at the Guest Services Centers located on the Field Level (Main Concourse), at Section 108, the Upper Level near Section 313, as well as the Toyota Terrace Concierge Desk adjacent to Section 208. Strollers are not permitted to be stored or left unattended on the concourse or any seating bowl area.
    SUITES
    Suite rentals are available for groups of sixteen (16) or more that desire a private setting. The San Diego Padres offer Premier Club, Toyota Terrace and Tower Loft suites available for rent on an individual game basis. Additionally, the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building features two (2) floors of unique party suites that can be opened up to accommodate larger groups. Pricing starts as low as $2,600.00 and includes a food and beverage package.

    SUITE ENTRY

    SWINGING FRIAR
    "The Swinging Friar" is the official mascot of the San Diego Padres. This fun-loving character pre-dates the Major League Padres, first serving as the mascot for the Pacific Coast League Padres. He was chosen as the mascot in 1961 and has become a Padres fixture.

Offered year round at 10:30AM and 12:30PM on non game days, tickets are available at the Western Metal Building Ticket Windows or online at padres.com/tours. Tour schedule varies on home games with Early Bird tours being conducted before evening games. Private group and VIP tours are also available upon request.     WATER BOTTLES
    Factory-sealed, bottled water that are twenty (20) ounces or less are permitted into Petco Park. Guests may also bring empty, sport-type water bottles and fill them at any water fountain throughout the ballpark.
    WATER FOUNTAINS
    Water fountains are location throughout Petco Park near Sections 108, 114, 121, 123, 132, 135, 212, 221, 231, 304, 307, 309, 310, 316, 317, 326 and 327.
    WESTERN METAL ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT ROOFTOP BLEACHERS
    For the ultimate bleacher experience with extraordinary views of downtown, treat your group of 30-250 to a Padres Game from a top the historic Western Metal Supply Building. Ticket includes a pre-game buffet beginning one (1) hour prior to game time and lasting until one (1) hour after first pitch, with beverage service running through the seventh inning. Tickets are as low as $55.00.
    WHEELCHAIRS
    Wheelchairs are available for guests' temporary use at the Guest Services Center located on the Street Level near the Home Plate Gate, Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108 and the Upper Level near Section 313. Identification will be required when a wheelchair is checked out. Identification will be returned once the wheelchair is returned. Wheelchair storage is available at the Guest Services Center on Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108. Wheelchair escorts to and from seats are available upon request.
    WI-FI
    Complimentary Wi-Fi service is available throughout the ballpark to guests that have a web-enabled device.
    WILL CALL
    Tickets ordered by phone or on the Internet may be picked up at any open ticket window at the Main Box Office located at Petco Park during normal business hours: Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or at any open ticket window on a game day.
    Customers should print and bring their confirmation number with a photo I.D. and the credit card used to make the purchase to claim tickets. It is recommended that customers claim tickets prior to the game date whenever possible.
    Traditional Will Call (Pre-printed tickets)
    This applies to all tickets left by an individual for another guest. Guests may pick up these tickets at the Main Box Office only. (This service is provided for regular season home games). The San Diego Padres are not responsible for third party will call.
    Automated Kiosk Will Call:
    On game days, guests may go directly to our electronic will call kiosks adjacent to the Gaslamp, East Village, and Home Plate entry gates at Petco Park. At the kiosk, the guest can swipe the credit card used to make the purchase and tickets will print out directly. Automated Will Call is not available at the turnstiles.
