The Sox appeared well on their way to victory, holding a nine-run lead in the seventh inning. But Justin Masterson -- in for John Smoltz after a rain delay ended the veteran's outing -- Hideki Okajima and Takashi Saito combined to allow 10 runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
