Daisuke Matsuzaka labored through five innings in which he tied a team record with four wild pitches. The lack of control didn't stop with Dice-K, as Manny Delcarmen and Justin Masterson each threw a wild pitch as the Sox tied a modern record. Boston was held to six hits, one of them Jason Bay's 14th homer.
