Twins 5, Red Sox 2
Jacoby Ellsbury, who had two hits, steals the first of his two bases on the night. (AP)
By Thor Nystrom / Special to MLB.com
Jon Lester was able to keep the Twins at bay in every inning except the fifth, when he allowed three singles, a walk and a three-run homer as part of a five-run frame. The Red Sox, who took the lead on Dustin Pedroia's RBI double in the top of the inning, were stifled after that.
