Red Sox 10, Rays 5
Nick Green had a two-run single in the second and an RBI single in the third. (Steve Nesius/AP)
The Red Sox pounced on Rays starter Jeff Niemann in the first three innings for six runs, of which Nick Green, who was 3-for-5, drove in three. After Tim Wakefield gave five runs back, Kevin Youkilis' sixth-inning two-run double and Mike Lowell's seventh-inning homer put the game out of reach.
