Tim Wakefield twirled seven shutout innings in a duel with fellow veteran Randy Johnson, backed by a pair of RBIs from Brandon Moss. The Red Sox slammed the door on the Snakes in the eighth, when Kevin Cash belted a three-run homer off Juan Cruz.
