Jose Lopez put an end to a long night and a tough seven-game Mariners losing streak when he plated the game-winner with a single down the left-field line in the ninth inning. Miguel Batista kept Seattle in it with seven strong innings, and Brandon Morrow escaped a jam in the eighth.
