En route to his fourth win, Josh Beckett recorded eight strikeouts, including the 1,000th of his career. He got all the support he'd need in the second courtesy of Jason Varitek's two-run single. Kevin Youkilis' two-run homer, his fourth dinger of the series, was simply icing on the cake.
