Jeff Francis pitched eight strong innings, allowing seven hits and two runs, to earn his 17th win. The Rockies got two RBIs from Todd Helton, and an inside-the-park home run from Garrett Atkins. The Rockies moved 1 1/2 games behind the Padres in the National League Wild Card race
