Brad Hawpe's home run in the 14th inning lifted the Rockies over the Padres. The win moved Colorado to 3 1/2 games behind San Diego in the National League Wild Card chase. Hawpe knocked in the Rockies' first run with an RBI single in the seventh inning. Franklin Morales gave up one hit in six-plus shutout innings.
