The Rays recent pitching staff took a turn for the worse on Tuesday, quickly coughing up an eight-run lead. Carlos Pena led a potent Rays offensive attack with three hits, including his 39th homer and Dioner Navarro had four hits. Grant Balfour allowed four runs in relief without getting an out.
