On Tuesday the Tribe lost, 1-0, after C.C. Sabathia dueled with Daisuke Matsuzaka. On Wednesday, Fausto Carmona threw eight shutout innings and outdueled Boston ace Josh Beckett. Runs were hard to come by, but all Cleveland needed was one, scored on Franklin Gutierrez's homer.
