Curt Schilling struck out a season-high 10 batters as the Sox toppled the Indians in the series opener. Kevin Youkilis extended his hitting streak to 20 games, and hit an inside-the-park homer in the seventh. Trot Nixon was greeted warmly in his Fenway return.
