Following a win in the series opener against Minnesota on Monday, Detroit has won seven of its last eight and looks to keep the gas pedal pressed to the floor with a 1 1/2-game lead over Kansas City in the American League Central. Taking the mound on Tuesday night is Rick Porcello, who will be opposed by veteran right-hander Ricky Nolasco.
