BOSTON, MA - The Red Sox wives will hit the fashion runway tomorrow, Thursday, September 15, to showcase the 10022-SHOE collection at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Prudential Center. The annual From Fenway to the Runway fundraiser, now in its tenth year, will benefit the Red Sox Foundation's award winning programs for at-risk children and wounded veterans.

The event includes a brunch at 10:30 a.m. with a live auction of one-of-a-kind items donated by the players and their wives with proceeds benefiting The Red Sox Foundation, followed by a runway fashion show at noon featuring Saks Fifth Avenue's 10022 shoe collection - whose name refers to the size of the new shoe floor in New York requiring its own zip code. WCVB-TV anchor Liz Brunner is emceeing the show.

"The Red Sox wives are the real MVPs of our team charity. All of us involved with the Red Sox Foundation are excited to join our friends at Saks Fifth Avenue for this year's From Fenway to the Runway," said Red Sox Foundation Board member Linda Pizzuti Henry. "This fun fashion event supports the team charity's Red Sox Scholar and inner city youth baseball and softball programs. In addition, we are delighted to have the spouses, sisters, mothers and daughters of the men and women who serve in the United States military as our guests. We are proud to honor them as part of the Red Sox charitable team."

Red Sox wives and girlfriends who will take the stage include: Farrah Lester, Tiffany Ortiz, Kelsey Hawkins, Lindsay Buchholz, Kelli Pedroia, Anne McGuire, Ashley Saltalamacchia, , Adair Bard, Cynara McDonald, Tara Albers, Catherine Panagiotopoulos, Georgia Nua, Sandi Reinold, Kimberly Doubront and Isabel Morales.

Five Red Sox wives, including Linda Pizzuti Henry, Stacey Lucchino, Stephanie Wheeler, Ashley Papelbon and Betsy Gonzalez, will also be attending. Among the guests will be military families and clients of the Red Sox Foundation and MGH Home Base Program serving veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan with combat stress and traumatic brain injuries, and their families. Also on hand will be Red Sox Scholars and members of the Foundation's RBI Youth Softball program.

"As we launch our 10022-SHOE salon, Saks Fifth Avenue is proud to host The Red Sox wives on the 10th Anniversary of From Fenway to the Runway," said Vice President & General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue Gretchen Pace. "This iconic event to benefit the Red Sox Foundation is the perfect combination of fashion and philanthropy. We are thrilled to support a cause that impacts our community in such a vital way."

While the brunch is sold out, tickets for the From Fenway to the Runway fashion show at noon, followed by a Champagne and Dessert Shopping Party in 10022-SHOE salon, are available. Tickets are $50 and must be purchased in advance by contacting Gena Borson at the Red Sox Foundation at gborson@redsox.com or calling 617-226-6440.
