Red Sox surpass 100,000 raffle tickets sold and $1 million raised for Red Sox Foundation
Three lucky fans will win personalized World Series rings, identical to those presented to Red Sox players

BOSTON, MA -- With tickets still on sale through July 3, the Red Sox last night surpassed 100,000 tickets sold in the first-ever World Series Ring Raffle, already generating more than $1 million for the Red Sox Foundation.
In recognition of the lifetime of loyalty and passion their fans have demonstrated to the Boston Red Sox and the team's charitable efforts, the Red Sox' owners announced April 27 that three lucky fans will be selected to receive authentic, personalized World Series rings through a Ring Raffle to benefit the Foundation.
All fans 18 and older, regardless of their state of residence, can purchase $10 raffle tickets at the Fenway Park ticket office and at designated kiosks at Fenway Park. Fans 18 and older who live in Massachusetts can also purchase $10 raffle tickets online at www.redsox.com/ringraffle. Raffle tickets will be available through 11:59 p.m. on July 3, 2005.
The World Series rings that will be awarded to the three winners are identical in every way to those presented to Red Sox players-the same make, model, materials and jewels-and will include the winners' names engraved on the side just like the players' rings.
Only 200,000 raffle tickets will be sold. The drawing will be held July 7, 2005 and will be televised live on NESN and simulcast on www.redsox.com. The rings will be presented to the three raffle winners at Fenway Park on July 14, 2005.
