    The Tampa Bay Rays and center fielder Kevin Kiermaier have agreed to terms on a contract worth a guaranteed $53.5 million over six years, beginning this season. The deal includes a 2023 club option, which along with incentives could raise the maximum value to $66.15 million.

    Major League Baseball today announced that the 2017 Honorary Bat Girl Contest is now available online at for fans to share stories of how they, or their loved ones, are supporting the cause to raise awareness and find a cure for breast cancer. The contest, which launched in 2009, will identify one fan per MLB Club who has a personal connection to breast cancer and has demonstrated a commitment to battling the disease.
