    The Kansas City Royals will host the Minnesota Twins (April 28-30), Chicago White Sox (May 1-4) and Cleveland Indians (May 5-7) during their 10-game homestand. Royals players will spend some time with community groups at events including Moose Lodge (April 28), Noah's Crown Town 5K (April 29) and the Alex Gordon Classic (April 29).     The Kansas City Royals will return home for a ten-game homestand to host division opponents Minnesota Twins (April 28-30), Chicago White Sox (May 1-4) and Cleveland Indians (May 5-7).

    The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have recalled outfielder Jorge Bonifacio and left-handed pitcher Matt Strahm from Omaha (AAA). In corresponding roster moves, infielder Raúl Mondesi and outfielder Paulo Orlando have been optioned to Omaha.

  • The 30th annual Greater Kansas City Day to take place tomorrow

    The Kansas City Royals, Royals Charities and area Rotary Clubs will activate the 30th annual Greater Kansas City Day on Monday, April 10. Throughout the morning, Rotarians and other volunteers will be in the metro area selling newspapers on street corners and metro Price Chopper stores. Union Station will also host a free First Pitch party from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

    The Kansas City Royals will begin their 2017 home schedule as they host the Oakland Athletics (April 10-13), Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (April 14-16) and San Francisco Giants (April 18-19). Throughout the first homestand, Greater Kansas City Day (April 10), Autism Awareness Day (April 14) and Jackie Robinson Day (April 15) will all take place. The Royals Charities Golf Tournament is scheduled on the second off day of the homestand. Please see below for more details.

    After starting the 2017 season on the road, the Kansas City Royals come home for their first homestand of the year and will host the Oakland Athletics (April 10-13), Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (April 14-16) and San Francisco Giants (April 18-19). The eight-game homestand will feature the first GordoNation (April 13) and Bark at The Park (April 19) events for 2017.
