Royals advise fans of I-435 construction
The Kansas City Royals would like to remind fans of the construction scheduled to take place across the southern part of the Kansas City metro on Interstate 435 as they leave Kauffman Stadium on Saturday night. Fans should expect delays and are encouraged to plan to use an alternate route.

The three members of the Kansas City Royals who have been chosen for the upcoming Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be recognized prior to Friday's 7:10 p.m. game against the Detroit Tigers. Fans should plan on arriving early and being in their seats by 7 p.m. in order to see the special pregame ceremony.
Royals in the Community
The Kansas City Royals finish the first half of the season as they return home to host the Detroit Tigers in a four-game series, July 10-13. Continuing from earlier in the week, the Royals will take part in the annual Royals Blood Drive at the Community Blood Center from July 10-12. Additionally, the Royals will highlight several local programs at the ballpark through RBI Night (July 10), Big Game James Section (July 11) and Dream Factory Day at The K (July 13). Royals Sign Left-Handed Pitcher Joe Saunders to Minor League Deal
The Kansas City Royals announced today that they have signed veteran left-handed pitcher Joe Saunders to a minor league contract. He opened the year with the Texas Rangers, but was released on July 4. He will be assigned to Triple-A Omaha.
