Bay homers as Sox fall to Twins
Penny allows three runs in final Grapefruit League start

Red Sox at the plate: Jason Bay crushed a two-run homer, his fourth of Spring Training, in the fourth inning. Mike Lowell and Jed Lowrie both went 2-for-3.
Twins at the plate: Michael Cuddyer belted a double and triple, driving in three runs. Joe Crede went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Alexi Casilla and Jason Kubel both had two hits.

Red Sox on the mound: Right-hander Brad Penny gave up five hits over five innings, walking none and striking out three. The right-hander is likely to get his first start of the season on April 12 against the Angels.
Twins on the mound: Opening Day starter Francisco Liriano surrendered two hits and a run over three innings, walking one and striking out three. Lefty Craig Breslow turned in a strong inning, striking out two. Grapefruit League records: Red Sox 19-13; Twins 18-13 Up next: The Red Sox are finished with their Florida portion of Spring Training. They will play exhibition games against the Mets at Citi Field on Friday and Saturday before opening their 2009 season at Fenway Park against the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday.The Twins travel to Bradenton, Fla., to play the Pirates on Friday at 12:05 p.m. CT, with Kevin Slowey taking the mound against Zach Duke.
