ANAHEIM -- If history is any indication, the Angels are in trouble after digging themselves into a 2-0 hole against the Red Sox with both losses coming at home. Only one team -- the 2001 Yankees against the A's -- came back from a 2-0 deficit after losing twice at home in Division Series play.

The Red Sox are the only team to come back from a 2-0 deficit multiple times, as they did it against the Indians in 1999 and then did it against the A's in 2003. The 1995 Mariners are the other team to do it, as they overcame a 2-0 deficit against the Yankees.

The Angels have fallen behind 2-0 twice against the Red Sox -- in 2007 and '04 -- and both times they were swept in three games. It's also the only two times the Red Sox had a 2-0 lead in the Division Series.

But the Angels aren't the only team that is in a 2-0 hole this postseason, as all four Division Series feature a team with a 2-0 lead. It's not the first time, though, as it also happened in 1995 and 2007.
