Time running out to enter the Ring Raffle
Nine fans to receive World Series bling, one to win a Volvo
BOSTON -- On Monday, just a little more than two months after players, coaches and other uniformed personnel received their rewards on Opening Day, Red Sox employees and others in the front office received their World Series rings in a more private ceremony at Fenway Park.
There's one special group remaining. Nine lucky fans will be selected in a drawing on July 11 to receive their World Series bling, with another fan chosen to receive a special-edition "Red Sox" Volvo C30.
Tickets for the 2007 World Series Ring Raffle, available at redsox.com, cost $10, with net proceeds going to benefit the Red Sox Foundation's charitable programs serving children and families in need. Tickets sales end at 11:59 a.m. ET on Saturday, July 5, or whenever the maximum 200,000 tickets are sold.
The 10 winners will be presented their prizes in a pregame ceremony at Fenway Park on Saturday, July 26, prior to the contest with the Yankees.
Restrictions require that anyone registering online be a legal Massachusetts resident at least 18 years of age.
Raffle tickets are also available in person to anyone 18 and older, regardless of residency, at Fenway Park and at select Simon Malls and other locations throughout Massachusetts.
