Up next for Red Sox: The Red Sox play the Athletics in an opening game for the second time in a week on Tuesday night at 10:05 p.m. ET. Instead of Tokyo, the setting will be Oakland this time around. The pitching matchup will be identical to last Tuesday's game in Tokyo, as Daisuke Matsuzaka gets the ball for the Red Sox and Joe Blanton pitches for Oakland. Both starters had no-decisions last time, as the Sox won the game, 6-5, in 10 innings.
