Up next for the Rays: The Rays host the Blue Jays on Friday at Progress Energy Park at 1:05 p.m. ET. Right-hander Edwin Jackson gets the start for Tampa Bay, followed by Trever Miller, Al Reyes, Kurt Birkins and Grant Balfour. Right-hander Jesse Litsch is expected to start for Toronto, followed by B.J. Ryan, Scott Downs, Brian Tallet and Jeremy Accardo.
Up next for the Red Sox: The Sox will host the Orioles in a 1:05 p.m. ET contest on Friday at City of Palms Park. Right-hander Daisuke Matsuzaka will start and be followed out of the bullpen by closer Jonathan Papelbon and veteran setup man Mike Timlin. Most of Boston's regulars are expected to be in the starting lineup, and shortstop Julio Lugo might return after missing the past week with back woes.
