The Cleveland Indians found the home cooking at Jacobs Field to be as appetizing as ever in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series on Monday night, and the result was a 4-2 win over the Boston Red Sox that gave them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set. You can relive the highlights of Game 3 right now while rocking out to the Elton John classic, "Crocodile Rock."
Right-handed ground-ball machine Jake Westbrook was the pilot on Monday, twirling 6 2/3 effective innings and keeping the power tandem of Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz in check. Meanwhile, the old man by the Cuyahoga River, 40-year-old Kenny Lofton, sparked the Tribe with a momentum-building homer, Asdrubal Cabrera chipped in with a big RBI single, and the Cleveland bullpen closed it out.
The Indians will try to keep their good vibes rolling Tuesday night in Game 4, when their veteran righty, Paul Byrd, takes the hill against Boston's venerable knuckleballer, Tim Wakefield. If the Tribe can win that one, they'll have another at the Jake on Thursday to try to close out the series at home.
MLB.com/entertainment is all over the postseason, with daily videos featuring the best baseball highlights of October set to music by stars including Elton John, Daughtry, KT Tunstall and Pat Monahan.
