Mussina tries to add to momentum
Boston (30-14) at New York (20-23), 7:05 p.m. ET
For only the second time this season, the Yankees will finish a series having pitched Chien-Ming Wang, Mike Mussina and Andy Pettitte.Mussina will get the nod in Game 2 of this week's Red Sox-Yankees series after Wang picked up the win in a 6-2 victory on Monday. Pettitte said it's about time for the rotation to look like this. "We feel good about it -- it's a start," he said. "We feel like we can get our rotation lined up again and go out there back-to-back games." "We haven't had a whole lot of opportunity to do that 42 games into [the season]. It's great. It's a long time to go to feel like we could line it up like this. That's the way we were hoping it would go from the beginning of the season." Aside from the Yankees' pitching lineup, Alex Rodriguez hopes that his recent hot streak will continue. He's hit homers in three straight games, dating back to Saturday against the Mets. "He just looks a little calmer at the plate," Yankees manager Joe Torre said. "He got a little -- I don't want to say fidgety -- but he didn't seem as comfortable [before Saturday]." Julian Tavarez will pitch for the Red Sox. He owns a career 2-1 record and a 5.73 ERA against the Yankees in 20 career games. Pitching matchup
