Angels at the plate: Reggie Willits and Nathan Haynes had two hits apiece and Jordan Renz hit a solo home run for an Angels split-squad that consisted mostly of Minor Leaguers. Former Brewers pitcher Pedro Liriano appeared to have a single in the top of the fifth, but he was thrown out at first base by Brewers right fielder Kevin Mench.

Brewers at the plate: Geoff Jenkins capped a big Cactus League season with a two-run double in the first inning and an RBI double in the sixth. He hit .400 in the Arizona portion of Spring Training. Tony Graffanino made his first start since Monday and went 2-for-3. The Brewers have won four of their last five games.

Angels on the mound: Right-hander Matt Hensley started and surrendered two runs on two hits in two innings. Liriano surrendered two runs and four hits in four innings.

Brewers on the mound: Chris Capuano made his final spring start and worked five innings, allowing a run on five hits and a walk. He also struck out a pair. Matt Wise limited his former team to one hit in two scoreless innings, and Francisco Cordero worked the ninth for his first spring save.

Cactus League records: Angels 17-13 (plus Thurs. night), Brewers 13-16.

Up next: The Brewers travel to Texas for the first of two exhibitions against the Rangers. Jeff Suppan will start Friday night in Frisco, Texas against Robinson Tejada.
