Outfielder Michael Bourn was in the middle of each rally, hitting an RBI triple in the ninth and an RBI single in the 10th. Ryan Howard smashed a two-run double off Tim Wakefield in the top of the first. Greg Dobbs belted a two-run homer against Joel Pineiro in the fifth.Red Sox on the mound: Wakefield allowed three hits and two runs over two innings of work, striking out two. Fellow starter Jonathan Papelbon pitched two innings out of the bullpen, striking out four and not allowing a baserunner. In two-thirds of an inning, Manny Delcarmen allowed three runs, three hits and one free pass in the ninth. Phillies on the mound: Adam Eaton allowed a hit and a run over three innings and struck out two. Jeff Farnsworth pitched the ninth inning, allowing three runs on three hits and two walks. It should be quite the matchup, as the Twins counter with left-hander Johan Santana.
