Cubs Kerry'd into NLCS
The Cubs took a huge, historic step on Sunday night, beating the Atlanta Braves in the deciding game of the NLDS to take their first playoff series in 95 years. Kerry Wood led the Chicago effort, allowing one run on five hits over eight innings while picking up his second series victory. Kid K doled out seven strikeouts in Game 5. That brought his series K total to 18, the second-highest in Division Series history.  Full story >
