Dan Quisenberry

Pitcher 1979-1988

An unconventional delivery and uncanny control combined to make Quisenberry an unforgettable success. He was a favorite among his teammates, peers, media and fans alike. He was named Royals Pitcher of the Year four times and was also selected to three American League All-Star teams. His emergence in the bullpen was key to the Royals finally capturing their first American League pennant in 1980.
