Music video highlights: ALCS Game 510/19/2007 12:51 PM ET
A team with the playoff experience and leadership, not to mention serious talent, such as the Boston Red Sox is going to fight all the way until their final out of the season, which is what they did in Game 5 on Thursday night, beating the Cleveland Indians, 7-1, to stay alive in the American League Championship Series and take it back to Fenway Park. Fittingly, Queen Latifah's "I'm Gonna Live Till I Die" is the background music for today's MLB.com/Entertainment daily highlight video recapping their emotional win.
Behind the right arm of ace Josh Beckett and the bats of Kevin Youkilis, Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz, the Sox stayed alive to force a Game 6, already evoking memories of their stunning win in the 2004 ALCS over the Yankees in which they fell behind, 3-0.
On Saturday night, the series and the stage shift to Boston, where the Indians salvaged a split in a tense, 11-inning Game 2, and for Game 6, it will once again be veteran Red Sox right-hander Curt Schilling facing off against upstart Indians hurler Fausto Carmona. Schilling won't have a bloody sock this time, but he'll try to channel the same inner strength he showed three years ago when facing elimination in Game 6 of the ALCS.
MLB.com/entertainment is all over the postseason, with daily videos featuring the best baseball highlights of October set to music by stars including Elton John, Daughtry, KT Tunstall, Pat Monahan and Queen Latifah. Keep checking back for your daily dose of Rocktober.
