Meet and receive an autograph from Reds Hall of Fame shortstop Leo Cardenas on Saturday, May 25 from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. A Red from his debut season of 1960 through 1968, Cardenas was a member of the Reds' 1961 National League championship club and was an All-Star each season from 1964 - 1966 and again in 1968. A Gold Glove winner in 1965, Cardenas was known as "Mr. Automatic" for his superlative defensive skills. Traded to the Twins after the 1968 season, Cardenas was a member of the Twins' back-to-back division title-winning teams in 1969 and 1970 and earned a fifth career All-Star selection with Minnesota in 1971. Cardenas also played for the Angels and Rangers in a career that last through the 1975 season. He was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame in 1981. Obtain an autograph from National Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Ferguson Jenkins in the Hall of Fame area in the Kroger Fan Zone at Great American Ball Park May 24 - May 26. Please note that autograph prices will be in effect and will be posted in advance of each day's signing session and that a game ticket is required to participate in the autograph sessions.
Jenkins won 284 games over the course of a 19-year career (1965-1983) playing primarily for the Cubs and Rangers. Jenkins won 20 or more games in a season seven times including six consecutive seasons from 1967-1972. A three-time All-Star and the National League's Cy Young Award winner in 1971, Jenkins was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991.

Join Daryl Smith, author of Making the Big Red Machine: Bob Howsam and the Cincinnati Reds of the 1970s for a special presentation on the blockbuster trade that brought Joe Morgan to Cincinnati, a deal that transformed the Reds into the best team of the 1970s and one of the greatest teams of all-time. Mr. Smith will explore the origin and history of the trade as well as its impact on the players involved, with particular emphasis placed on Morgan's post-trade transformation into one of the most complete players in the history of the game. The presentation will also provide insight into the brilliance of Reds general manager Bob Howsam, whose moniker "The Architect of the Big Red Machine" arose in large part because of the Morgan trade. The presentation is free with museum admission. Copies of Mr. Smith's book will be available for sale at the Hall of Fame.

As part of the 75th anniversary celebration of Johnny Vander Meer's back-to-back no-hitters, fans can meet and take pictures with Reds Hall of Famer pitchers Jim Maloney and Tom Browning on Saturday, June 15 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm. With two no-hitters to his credit, Maloney is the only other pitcher besides Vander Meer to throw more than one no-hitter in a Reds uniform. His first was on August 19, 1965 and the second came four seasons later on April 30, 1969. Known as "Mr. Perfect," Browning tossed the only perfect game in Reds history on Sept. 16, 1988. The meet and greet is free with admission to the Reds Hall of Fame. No autographs, please.

Noted Babe Ruth impersonator Ron Oer will be on-hand for a day-long visit greeting fans and posing for pictures. Mr. Oer will be in character, in uniform as the legendary Bambino, arguably the greatest baseball player of all-time and undoubtedly one of the biggest icons in the history of sports.

A Red from 1961-1967, Edwards was the Reds leading hitter in the 1961 World Series, won Gold Gloves in 1963 and 1964 and was an All-Star each season from 1963-1965. With two no-hitters to his credit, Maloney is one of only two pitchers in Reds history to throw more than one no-hitter in a Reds uniform (Johnny Vander Meer is the other) and is the club's all-time leader in career strikeouts. Edwards caught Maloney's first no-hitter, a 10-inning shutout of the Cubs on August 19, 1965. The autograph signing is free with admission to the Reds Hall of Fame.
