The 2009 Official Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camp is now ON SALE! The 2008 camp sold out quickly, so this year we have decided to offer two separate and identical weeks. Space is limited to just 120 campers for each week so act now and do not miss your chance. This is the only Fantasy Camp that is run by the Red Sox and the only one that takes place at the Red Sox Spring Training Facility, using the same locker room that the Major Leaguers use, with the chance to play at City of Palms Park.

Anyone 30 years of age or older can take advantage of this once-in a lifetime opportunity to be a big leaguer. You will arrive at the Boston Red Sox Spring Training Facility and find your very own Authentic Majestic Uniform hanging in your very own locker. You will receive instruction from past Red Sox greats and you will also have access to the same Red Sox Training Staff and Clubhouse Staff that the players use, so you will truly be treated exactly like a Big Leaguer!

Breakfast and Lunch are included every day as well as many organized social events including a Welcome Reception, HR Derby and BBQ, Mid-week Social, and the Closing Night Awards Banquet.

Last year's Coaches included: Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd, Dick Berardino, Al Bumbry, Jim Corsi, Brian Daubach, Dick Drago, Rich Gale, Rich Gedman, Butch Hobson, Jay Johnstone, Bill Lee, Amos Otis, George Thomas, Rick Wise, Bob Montgomery, Chad Epperson, Walter Miranda, Ken Sanders, Ralph Treuel, UL Washington, and Ron Johnson. While we have not officially confirmed our list of coaches for 2009 we expect most of these coaches to return again, and will also add some new coaches to the list.

In addition, the following Red Sox personalities also attended the camp in 2008, and we also expect most to return again in 2009: Joe Castiglione, Dwight Evans, Dave Magadan, Frank Malzone, Brad Mills, Jim Rice, Luis Tiant, and Red Sox Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski.

Base package price is $4,395 per person and includes:

  • Hotel accommodations for 8 days and 7 nights at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Ft. Myers and transportation to and from the ballpark each day.
  • Nine (9) total games and instruction each day, including a home run derby and a game at City of Palms Park against the Red Sox Alumni.
  • Personalized home and road Authentic Majestic Boston Red Sox uniform, including hat, socks, warm up pullover, and other Red Sox accessories.
  • Your own Red Sox locker in the clubhouse with name plate and access to all of the facilities and equipment and access to all of the Official Boston Red Sox Clubhouse Staff and Club Trainers.
  • Hot breakfast and lunch served each day at the clubhouse and a happy hour at the ballpark with snacks and drinks after each day's activities.
  • Opening Night Welcome Reception, Mid-week BBQ, Closing Night Awards Banquet and a mid-week social event
  • Headshots and Team Photos taken by on-site photographers. All campers will receive photos & a copy of the Fantasy Camp Video sent after the conclusion of the camp.
  • Q&A and autograph sessions with Red Sox legends. Past attendees include: Dwight Evans, Carl Yastrzemski, Jim Rice, Luis Tiant, and more.
  • Invitation to take part in a reunion game at Fenway Park during the 2009 season, including an opportunity to play a game on the field!
