Tim is the first MLB pitcher to be featured in a Warner Bros. animated limited edition. Tim joins an elite group of sports legends including Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Derek Jeter and Drew Brees, who have all been featured in a Warner Bros. Looney Tunes limited edition.
Knuckled Under by Wakefield combines the talent of ten Warner Bros.' artists and designers using the traditional hand-drawn and hand-painted process of animation, making this art truly exceptional. Animation art, recognized and exhibited at museums and galleries worldwide, is a popular and respected American art form. Characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner and Tweety are American icons that have entertained audiences for generations.
Each numbered limited edition fine art lithograph ($345 each) and limited edition hand-painted cel ($1,195 each) is personally signed by Tim Wakefield, custom framed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. The lithograph ships via UPS insured ground for $30; the hand-painted cel ships via UPS insured ground for $40.
