Boston Red Sox, Vice President/Public Affairs

Susan joined the Red Sox in 2008 after spending the previous two years as Major League Baseball's Vice President of Business Public Relations. In her role with the Red Sox, she is involved in all aspects of the Red Sox public relations and outreach in the areas of business, marketing, community initiatives, and the Red Sox Foundation. A native of Atlanta, Susan received a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia, and a Master's degree in American Studies from Georgetown University.
olanoMike Olano
Boston Red Sox, Coordinator/Public Affairs

Mike joined the Red Sox in 2002, and has served as a Fenway Ambassador, and the Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President/Public Affairs. He has been involved with the Lindos Sueños program for the past four years. A native of Holden, MA, Mike received a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic Literature from Boston College.
gonzalezFrankie Gonzalez
Boston Red Sox, Fenway Ambassador

Mr. Gonzalez joined the Red Sox in 2002 as a Fenway Ambassador. Frankie has been part of the Lindos Sueños program since its inception, and has emerged as a passionate leader of the program, working as a coach and mentor, Program Coordinator, and Project Manager. He holds a BS in Marketing from Northeastern University and also works as Recruiting Coordinator at the MBA Career Center at Northeastern University. Frankie is married to his college sweetheart and has two young daughters.
alouJesus Alou
Boston Red Sox, Director/Dominican Summer League Red Sox

Jesus, or "Jay" as the participants know him, joined the Red Sox organization in 2002. He has been involved in the game of baseball for over 50 years, as a player, coach, and scout. Originally signed as a pitcher by San Francisco in 1958, Alou converted to the outfield and played 15 seasons in the majors with the Giants, Astros, Athletics, and Mets. He played with his brothers Felipe and Matty on the Giants from 1963-65 and on September 15, 1963, they became the only three siblings ever to play the outfield together in a big league game. He won two World Championships with the A's in 1973 and 1974. In his final two seasons with the Astros, he served as a player/coach.
fanaAlberto Faña
Lindos Sueños, Coach

Alberto Faña has been involved in the game of baseball for 15 years. He was signed by the Phillies organization in 1992 and played in their Minor League system for four years. He managed the Dominican Summer League for two years and later served as a roving catcher instructor for the Phillies in their minor league system. He has a baseball academy in the Dominican Republic where he instructs and develops players. He has been involved with the Lindos Sueños program since its inception.

Lindos Sueños, Staff Member

Ken has been with the Lindos Sueños program since its inception, and has helped in a variety of roles. Ken has been a baseball man his entire professional career. He covered the Orioles for the Baltimore Sun for many years. He has also worked as the Director of Public Relations for the Yankees, and worked with the Orioles, Padres, and Red Sox. Ken is a graduate of Colby College.
