In-Kind Donations

Thank you for your interest in the Boston Red Sox. We believe it is our role as the Major League Baseball Club of New England to support accredited non-profit organizations of this region with their fundraising efforts, and we are happy to help you. In an effort to best process your donation and support as many charities throughout the Northeast (CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, VT) as possible, please consider the following policies:

• Letters of request must be submitted in writing on the organizations’ letterhead and should include a brief description of the organization and the beneficiary, date of event, contact information, and whether or not the fundraiser includes a live or silent auction, raffle, or door prize.

Mail your request to:
Boston Red Sox
Community Relations
4 Yawkey Way
Boston, MA 02215

       - To preserve the integrity and efficiency of the process, we DO NOT accept requests via fax, email, or over the phone.
       - Please refrain from sending duplicate requests or multiple requests to various departments.

• The Community Relations Department should receive your request at least 2 months prior to the event.

• If your request includes all of the pertinent details, an item will be mailed directly to the organization or beneficiary 10 days prior to the event.

       - We are unable to place follow-up calls regarding each donation request. If you haven’t received an item within a week of your event, please call the Community Relations Department at 617-226-6000.
       - Donations are in the form of autographed memorabilia. Due to the demand, we are not able to offer tickets as a charitable donation.

• We appreciate you helping us reach the greatest number of charities possible by requesting only one item per calendar year.

• Though we congratulate your efforts, we are unable to support individual or company fundraising efforts (ex. Relay for Life, United Way Campaign, etc.) as we directly support the local chapter of all national charities.

• Please DO NOT send personal items as members of the front office are unable to intervene on behalf of fans seeking autographs for personal or charitable purposes. We will not be held responsible for items sent to the players.
