- Q: What are the major components of mini Fenway Park?
- A: The major components include:
- A kid size Fenway Park Replica Field, Stands and Façade, with an exact foot print (at youth baseball dimensions) of the historic field including all of the present day features of the real Fenway Park: the Green Monster, the Fisk and Pesky Poles, DiMaggio Flag Pole, Fenway Dugouts and Bull Pens, Red Box Seats, Concourses, Light Towers and the 1912 Façade.
- Two Additional Ball Fields and Four Multi Practice Diamonds for Youth Baseball.
- Youth to Legends Museum with both moving and interactive exhibits that will feature Red Sox Legends such as such as Babe Ruth, Luis Tiant and Carl Yastrzemski, the first graduate of the Little League System to make it to the National Baseball Hall of fame.
- Major League Baseball Fan Fest Area including interactive games that replicate the actual MLB Fan Fest held annually at the All-Star Game.
- Theater that features indoor clinics, lectures and viewing baseball games and movies.
- Food and Beverage consisting of a Food Court and Concessions doubling as venues for events.
- Souvenir and Pro Shop with the latest baseball apparel, equipment and memorabilia.
- Q: How will mini Fenway Park be developed?
- A: mini Fenway Park will be developed in phases. The first phase will consist of the Fenway Park Replica Field, Stands and Façade, Additional Ball Fields and Multi Practice Diamonds, parking and all site work. The second phase will include: Replica Concessions and Food Court, Replica Indoor Field for Whiffle Ball, Baseball Museum and Theater, Fan Fest Batting and Pitching Cages, Souvenir Store and Pro Shop and Replica Boston Garden Ice Rink.
- Q: How long will it take to build mini Fenway Park?
- A: As a public/private partnership with the Town of North Attleboro, the mini Fenway Park Project requires approvals from several town departments. In addition, the use of the name and image of Fenway Park requires licensing agreements that are in place with both The Boston Red Sox and Major League Baseball. Compliance with these agreements requires an ongoing approval process. Once all of these approvals are completed, the actual construction of the first phase will take 6 months with a timetable for subsequent phases to be determined as each component is selected and fundraising is completed.
- Q: When will the construction of the first phase of mini Fenway Park begin?
- A: The current plan is for a ground breaking during the spring of 2010, a Preview of the Replica Field, Stands and Façade in the fall of 2010, and a Grand Opening in the spring of 2011.

- A: An estimate based on the preliminary architectural drawings forecast the cost of construction including the site work to be $2.75 million.

- A: Private funds from Corporations, Foundations and Individuals in the form of sponsorships and gifts will be raised to pay for the construction.

- A: Yes, a dome will eventually be placed over the Multi Practice Diamonds from November to March and in the second phase a Replica Boston Garden Ice Rink will ensure year round use.

- A: Yes, a pledged gift of $1 million from the Feinstein Foundation to build the first phase as well as several naming rights and corporate partnerships. A long term agreement with the Town of North Attleboro, Massachusetts will provide 15 acres of land. Major League Baseball and the Boston Red Sox have granted the rights to the name, image and likeness of Fenway Park in connection with the mini Fenway Park Project and the Fenway Park Massachusetts Special License Plate.
